What's the weather going to be like?
The weather in the Northern Territory can fluctuate and be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 50+ degrees Celsius in the dry season, and the temperature drops dramatically in the evening. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing. In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the provider.

A minimum moderate to advanced level of fitness is required to complete the walks.
The length of walks will be between 2 km to 6 km each day, often over steep rocky sections and in direct sunlight and high humidity.
An approximate 12-15 km walk is included in this tour. Embarking on walks will be at the guide’s discretion to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, a medium/high level of fitness is required, and a doctor’s certificate is required for participants over 70 years old, submitted at least 30 days prior to travel.

Basic Single Swag – This Basic Single Swag fare price is per person for Adults or Children. For guests who wish to sleep under the stars on the ground in a self-contained canvas-covered bush bed roll with a camp mattress.
Safari Tent Twin Share – This Safari Pop-up Tent fare price is per person) for Adults or Children. For guests wishing to sleep in the outback but remain protected from the elements, The Operator provides portable dome tents with inflatable mattresses, bed linen, and lanterns.
Sleeping bags can be hired from The Operator for approx. $40 AUD (subject to change without notice), this includes cleaning costs. You are more than welcome to bring your own.
Solo travellers booking separately in a Safari Tent Twin Share are paired with another solo traveller, where possible of the same gender but not guaranteed. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

With limited storage space on the vehicle, baggage is kept to 1 x 15kg travel bag and 1 x 5kg day bag. This tour is unsuitable for mobility-impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers or strollers.

The Operator will try to cater for most dietary needs and/or food allergies – passengers MUST notify the tour operator of any special dietary requirements or medical conditions at the time of booking.

Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean-up, unpacking, and loading of the vehicle, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.

FLIGHTS ARRIVING - ALICE SPRINGS (airport code ASP)
Given our tour departs early from Alice Springs from 6:00am, guests must arrive the day prior to the tour and stay 1-night. Once you have booked your Alice Springs accommodation, the tour operator will arrange a pick-up on the day of the tour. The tour operator does not provide airport-to-accommodation transfer services pre/post tours.
FLIGHTS ARRIVING - AYERS ROCK AIRPORT (airport code AYQ)
The tour operator will do their best to meet all Ayers Rock flights. However, there may be delays if the group is exploring a key itinerary location. It’s essential that you verify that your flight times align with the tour operator's schedule before booking. Lunch is not provided on Day 1, guests are encouraged to eat before joining the tour group.
Guests arriving at Ayers Rock Airport [AYQ] on earlier flights can take the complimentary shuttle to Yulara Resort or Ayers Rock Campground and relax at the public swimming pool. Please be waiting at the pick-up point on Yulara Drive at least 10 minutes before departure.
