We leave Alice Springs at approximately 7:45 am and return to Alice Springs at around 5:30 pm.

Yes. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome on our tour and are charged at a child rate.

All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care.

We have a maximum of 36 people on each tour. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned bus.

There is a variety of short walks on this tour that can be enjoyed by all ages and fitness levels.

The Bushman&rsquo;s Lunch consists of &lsquo;make your own&rsquo; wraps. Choose from a variety of cold meats, cheese and a selection of salad ingredients to create you own wrap (or two), as well as a selection of cold drinks. Please note as we are in the outback, supplies of fresh ingredients can vary day to day.

Experience the magnificent grandeur of the West MacDonnell Ranges on this fascinating one day tour. Marvel at towering fiery red walls set aglow by the desert sun as you drive along the ranges. We tour through these amazing ranges all day and stop at beautiful gorges and waterholes, where we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the warmer months.

Your guide will collect you from outside your Alice Springs accommodation.

You&rsquo;ll see spectacular outback scenery and have ample photo opportunities as we travel along the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at historic sites.

MORNING

Enjoy beautiful walks at Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm (for morning tea), and the Ochre Pits.

&nbsp;

LUNCHTIME / EARLY AFTERNOON

Our next stop is at Ormiston Gorge for a Bushman&rsquo;s Lunch, consisting of wraps and cold drinks. On our way back to Alice Springs, we stop to spend time at Ellery Creek Big Hole. This waterhole is one of Central Australia&rsquo;s most pristine, so don&rsquo;t forget your swimmers in the warmer months!

LATE AFTERNOON / EVENING

The panoramic landscapes of the West MacDonnell Ranges are extraordinary for their immensity and the spectacular array of sunburnt oranges, maroons and purples on display.

In the winter months, these mighty ranges light up in brilliant oranges and reds at sunset on the return journey to Alice Springs.

You can expect to be back at your accommodation at approximately 5:30 pm.

	<li>While on tour you will be visiting places where the dangers and challenges will be greater than those present in daily lives. There may be a higher degree of personal risk due to participation on the tour. You acknowledge and accept that your decision to travel on our tour is made in light of consideration of this and you are aware of the personal risks involved.</li>
	<li>The tour operator reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure.</li>
	<li>A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour.</li>
	<li>The tour operator accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance.</li>
	<li>Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian</li>
	<li>All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen</li>
